This movement mainly trains chest, and also recruits Front delts, Triceps.
With the torso leaned forward, dips become a bodyweight decline press: the sternal head of the chest leads and the triceps follows. The more upright the torso, the more the triceps takes over.
Six to twelve bodyweight reps, then weighted once that gets easy. Torso lean is the dial: it decides what the movement trains.
Dropping until the shoulders sit below the elbows. The extra range no longer loads the chest — it puts the shoulder capsule at end range under your whole bodyweight.
