This movement mainly trains abs.
The landmine 180 loads the obliques in resisted rotation, standing, with shoulders and hips in the chain. The bar travels an arc: resistance changes from one end of the path to the other.
Eight to twelve reps per side, moderate load. Rotation comes from hips and trunk together, the arms only holding the bar.
Turning with the arms alone, pelvis fixed. The lumbar spine then absorbs the rotation where it has the least range to give.
