This movement mainly trains forearms, and also recruits Biceps.
The wrist extensors, on top of the forearm — the direct antagonists of the flexors. They are almost always under-trained, because no pull recruits them.
Fifteen to twenty-five reps, with a load clearly lighter than for flexion: these muscles are smaller and the strength ratio between the two sides is far from equal.
Using the same weight as the wrist curl. The extensors are markedly weaker, and this is where most lateral elbow pain starts.
